Harry’s Castle

Like any young man worth his salt a pile of ‘sand’ needs to be climbed.

???????????????????????????????

But Harry Baldwin, a 22 year old trainee on placement with the Sir Harold Hillier Gardens, is not planning to build a castle and surround it with a moat – Harry is designing his first show garden to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Hillier’s.  It will be a reconstruction of Sir Harold Hillier’s private garden from the 1950’s and use a selection of plants from the National Collection of Hillier introductions.

No more pictures until it’s finished – but great progress had been made when I left last night.  Come back and see the finished garden next week.
