2013 in review

Happy New Year and best wishes to all our readers and supporters.

It’s a quiet time of year for us outside the office, so not many opportunities to take photos and write about what we are doing, although Mercy tells me she has a few drafts in the pipeline.  We are very busy inside the office with preparation of the 2014 National Collections Directory, membership renewals and preparing for events etc this coming year.

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2013 annual report for this blog, which you might like to take a look at.

Here’s an excerpt:

The concert hall at the Sydney Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 25,000 times in 2013. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 9 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.
