Recently it has been sunny enough at lunchtime to venture out into the walled garden at Loseley and enjoy the first signs of spring.
Snowdrops under the ancient mulberry tree.
The vegetable garden cleared and marked out ready for planting.
Pelargoniums getting a breath of fresh air.
Seedlings making progress in the greenhouse.
And keeping them warm, the most beautiful log burner. Apparently this used to be in Loseley House itself and was rescued and given a second life heating one of the greenhouses. It has some Scandinavian inscriptions with this lovely Nordic scene on its flank and throws out enough heat to make potting up cuttings on a cold but sunny day the best job in the world.
