RHS Trials Conference

For those of you with money burning a hole in your pockets, the RHS Trials Conference is on in July. They have an interesting list of speakers and topics, though I suspect that some of the debates might get feisty. Not quite sure of the wisdom of scheduling it at the same time as Hampton Court, but I suppose there is only so much of the summer to go round.

Another option for your pocket money is the Plant Heritage AGM in the most beautiful county in the country (Sussex, of course). Held the last weekend in May, it boasts fantastic speakers and garden visits. If you feel you need a breath of sea air to refresh you after the rigours of Chelsea, or if you have ‘done’ all the big rhododendron gardens in Sussex this might be the one for you, as there are visits scheduled to places you may not have been!
