Our West Midlands group in conjunction with some National Plant Collection holders produced the Plant Heritage display at the BBC Gardeners World Live Show 2012, held at the NEC Birmingham.
A dedicated band of volunteers led by Madeleine Jones helped put the show together offering a unique range of plants for sale, along with a specialist gardening book stall, and plant artwork for sale. The Collection holders provided some imaginative displays, and put smiles on peoples’ faces when they purchased a newly found plant along with expert advice on looking after their purchases.
